Seattle comes into this game on the heels of a couple bad losses getting out scored 12 to 6 in the last two games. The Kraken have been good on the defensive side of the ice up to this point and look to get back on track against the NY Islanders. New York is another playoff caliber team so this would be a meaningful win if they can get it done. The Islanders are sitting in the second position in the Metro Division with 59 points where the Kraken keep flirting with disaster falling two spots out of the wildcard. Entering the final third of the season this is the time teams need to start picking up the pace to separate the playoff teams from the teams that have to focus on next year.
